iTero Wellness Scans & Digital Impressions
Say goodbye to messy, goopy impressions. We use a special wand-like tool attached to a CAD/CAM program to digitally render a 3D image of your teeth onto a computer screen! All patients have annual digital impressions taken with our iTero Lumina scanner, which allows us to visualize even the smallest change in your teeth and gums (e.g. gum recession area or a worn down tooth surface). Our patients appreciate being able to see more clearly what is going on in their mouth rather than imagining what we are describing.
In-House Milling
Our office combines advanced digital dentistry with an artistic touch through in-house milling and custom staining of porcelain crowns and onlays. By designing and crafting restorations right here in our practice, we’re able to deliver beautifully precise, highly personalized results with exceptional fit, strength, and natural esthetics. Each restoration is carefully customized in shape, shade, and characterization to blend seamlessly with your smile.
3D Printing
We use a dental 3D printer to create models of your teeth, create lower cost restorations, and fabricate dentures in-house.
Digital X-rays & CBCT
We use Planmeca low dose radiation CBCT/pano and digital sensors. A CBCT gives a full 3D view of your teeth, jaws, and bone structure. It helps with accurate diagnosis, precise planning, and better outcomes for implants, root canals, and more.
GBT Airflow Cleanings
A comfortable and powerful way to clean your teeth and gums using air, warm water, and a fine powder. It’s more effective and gentle than traditional cleanings- perfect for patients with sensitive teeth, gum issues, braces, and implants.
Diode Laser
This soft tissue laser is often used by our hygienists to gently treat gum inflammation and oral ulcers with minimal to
no discomfort. Dr. Chan may use the laser for minor gum contouring in esthetic cases.
Digital Smile Design
For more extensive treatment planning, Dr. Chan will take a series of DSLR photographs. She will use the photos and digital impressions to design a model of the proposed treatment in Exocad (dental CAD/CAM software). The model can be 3D printed and shown to you for approval.
